Tomodachi Life

This is no joke. Tomodachi Life really is coming to the USA. At first I thought it was just some April fools prank that Nintendo was playing. But no, its for real. In fact, they even had a Nintendo direct last week on Thursday.  So we're going to be covering it all.

Has your life not been all you wish it could be? Well be sad no more! Now you can live in a game cartridge! Import your and your friends mii's into your game and see what wacky things will happen with the addition of other random players, developers, characters from other Nintendo games, and a bunch of celebrities. There is a lot you can do in this game, so check it out below!

                         

First you create your mii's. You can create you and your freinds mii's in mii maker, and then send them over to Tomodachi. After that you can customize it and begin to play. You can set the personality and voice to make the game a unique experience and as similar to the real life people as possible. But that's only the beginning. Literally.

Now the randomness starts. You and your friends will all start doing crazy things! Going to outer space, playing in a rock band, messing with dinosaurs and doing lots of random and stupid things are just the beginning! What you and your friends will do will be both hysterical and.... will basically just that.

  

                       

Secondly, have of the game is about relationships. Characters can try to go on dates, get into fights, hate each other, be best friends... the possibilities are endless. We haven't seen a lot on this besides that most of the instances are very...strange, such as Bill Trinen (Senior Product Marketing Manager of Nintendo of America) meeting Samus on the beach and asking Samus to go on a date with him, and then Reggie (President of Nintendo of America) walking over and asking the same question in just his swim trunks, and then Mr. Iwata (CEO of Nintendo Co. and Nintendo of America) popping out from underwater and asking the same question to Samus yet again. Like I said; pretty crazy.

The last crazy event that I'm going to cover is dreams. Sometimes characters will fall asleep and have WILD dreams. If you thought that the rest of the game was crazy, then this will just like blow your mind. We haven't seen many dreams yet, but the ones we have are so spontaneous and random they make NO SENSE. So far we've seen giant heads of Miis that are on your island emerging from the water like sea monsters, characters falling from the sky and landing on hamburgers, and dreams of telling famous basket ball players that your out of Mac and Cheese and them flipping out. Kind of hard to put these dreams into words that fit, so you can check out the 'Dreams' trailer below that Nintendo has released on their official Youtube channel.

Thanks for reading! I hope you will enjoy the game if you get it, but I don't think I will. It just seems a little too random and strange for me. But, if I did get it, it would be cool too make an online journal about all that had gone on in my Tomodachi Life game, but not like a Let's Play. More like an adventure log. Maybe I should do that for another game... Zelda or Pokemon would be cool... maybe, I don't know. As usual you can look below for several screen shot from the game.
