Hello Pokemon Fans! Pokemon has announced that the Pokemon
TCG new rules from Japan will be coming to America (whether we want it
or not). Below are the new rules players will have to follow starting November
8 in both Japan and America.
First turn rules
As usual, one player flips a coin. But, the winner of the
coin flip will decide who goes first. Easy decision right? Mabey not. The
player who goes first can’t attack!
So, if you want to start dealing damage first, you might want to make the other
go first. If you want to get a fast setup, you
might want to go first. The reason for this rule change is to prevent donks on
the first turn. I think this rule is interesting…guess I’ll have to see how it
plays out in the metagame.
Now the card Pokemon
Catcher will require a coin flip. While this makes it harder to get a opponents,
at least a slight upside is that your bench is protected from being easily catchered
up, which can give them an easy prize or really disrupt your strategy. But, I
find in a little angering that Pokemon changed the text on a card, even after
it was reprinted twice. This new rule change makes catcher exactly like Pokemon Reversal a previous card that was the same as catcher,
but a coin flip.
Professor Rule

Well, what do you think about the rule change? Do you think this is reasonable, or has Nintendo lots it’s marbles? Put you opinion in the comments section below!
I don't get it............. head hurts -.-
